The car was towed near the intersection of 21st Street and Broadway Avenue. It was brought to a tow yard near 39th Street and Wynkoop Avenue.
The tow company, Excalibur Recovery, says the baby was in the car, which was not running, for an hour and half before the mother called authorities.
Paramedics came to the tow yard, and checked on the girl and say she was fine.
The tow company told 9NEWS their driver had no idea a baby was in the back because it was covered with blankets.
Because so much time had passed, Excalibur says the thought of a child being in the backseat seemed unlikely.
When they were told about the baby in the backseat, the employee says they found it sucking on a bottle underneath the blankets. The baby was returned to the mother.
The mother's name has not been released.
