ROCKY FORD, Colo. (AP) - Colorado cantaloupe farmers say they are ready this year to protect their crops from deadly listeria that hurt their industry several years ago.
According to KRDO-TV, food safety is a top priority for farms, and workers are getting more food safety training.
A 2011 listeria outbreak traced to Colorado's Jensen Farms killed 33 people.
