It is a seven-volume report which describes the events of September 27, 2006 when Duane Morrison took seven girls hostage at Platte Canyon High School. Morrison killed sophomore Emily Keyes and then killed himself.
The report by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation describes in detail what happened. The report still has to be redacted, County Attorney Steve Groome told 9Wants to Know, and portions of it will never be released.
A news conference is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, March 27 when the report is expected to be released to the general public. Parents of the hostages will be able to access the report prior to that.
