DENVER - Imagine an entire pillow case stuffed with Snickers bars, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and Milky Ways. It's a chocolate lover's dream and a dentist's nightmare. And it's the reason Denver dentists are offering a sweet deal for your stash of sugary treats.
Dentists and orthodontists from Aurora to Denver are offering up to a dollar a pound for your Halloween candy starting on Monday, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and ending Saturday.
All the candy collected will then be shipped to American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq so they can enjoy a bit of Halloween.
