Despite losing Brendon Mundorf, the MLL MVP and Outlaws leading scorer, due to an ankle injury, Denver found a way. Rookie Chris Bocklet took his place in the starting lineup and scored a career-best six goals.

The record-setting season will continue for one more day. The Outlaws will face the Chesapeake Bayhawks for the Steinfeld Cup at 1 p.m.
