NFL investigates whether Chargers used "Stickum" vs. Broncos

If the claim is found to be truthful, San Diego could be reprimanded with a fine or the loss of one or more draft picks. 

"We are aware of the inquiry and we are cooperating fully with the League," the Chargers said in an official statement.

During the Broncos 35-24 victory, according to Fox Sports, an equipment manager had the substance hidden in hand towels. The line judge, Jeff Bergman, saw the towels and confiscated the substance, according to the report.

The NFL has banned "Stickum" and other sticky substances since the early 1980's.
