Man stabbed in Wheat Ridge hotel

WHEAT RIDGE - Wheat Ridge Police are searching extensively for a silver 1994 Jeep Cherokee which might be connected to a stabbing over Monday night.

According to detectives, at 9:45 p.m., Wheat Ridge Police found a man in his mid-40s suffering from life-threatening stab wounds in a Motel 6 in the 9900 block of West 49th Avenue.

The victim was taken to St. Anthony's Hospital and is still being cared for.

The Jeep is the victim's car and has a Colorado license plate of 986-TBJ.
