AURORA - Aurora Police have not identified any suspects in a homicide Thursday night that left a 67-year-old woman dead.
Police responded to a call at the 15000 block of East Colfax Avenue Thursday for a welfare check. A caller had reported that a woman in a wheelchair had come from behind the businesses on the north side of Colfax Avenue, according to a news release.
Witnesses told investigators that she appeared to have injures to her upper torso. The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later. Her identity has not yet been released.
Officers have located what they believe to be a crime scene behind the business.
