Nationally, gas prices now average $3.61 a gallon. That's a 12-cent drop from early March and 33 cents below $3.94 a year ago.

KUSA - If you plan to drive this Memorial Day weekend, it's going to cost you more than it did in 2012.
According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Colorado averages at $3.83. The cost is up 8 cents compared to 2012.
In the 30 days, gas prices in Colorado have jumped more than 30 cents. Part of the jump is attributed to recent troubles at Midwestern oil refineries.
