DENVER - A Denver man who police say received child pornography is also believed to have posted on online message boards, looking for young boys to torture.

During a search of 52-year-old Denver resident Clifford Eric Perian's home, police found a bondage table, "genital stimulus" paraphernalia and other devices intended for sexual purposes.

According to a federal arrest affidavit, Perian confessed to engaging in sexual activity with at least three teenage boys, and strapping a fourth 16-year-old boy to his bondage table.

He also confessed to taking pictures of underage boys at Water World without their knowledge, the affidavit says. Those pictures, however, were not sexually explicit, the affidavit goes on to say.

An investigation by an unnamed foreign law enforcement agency led to a child porn movie production company with Perian's name on the mailing list. Between December 2005 and March 2011, the affidavit says, Perian spent $343 on DVDs from the company.

Federal authorities were also notified about Perian via a cyber tipline report from someone who saw a web posting under his email address reading "will torture boys ANY age, the younger the better!"

Police investigators contacted Perian at the Brakes Plus in Centennial where he works on May 23. He voluntarily went to the USPIS office in Denver, where he confessed to the above crimes. At the conclusion of the interview, he was arrested for the receipt of child pornography.

On that same day, police also conducted a search warrant at Perian's home at 351 S. Holly St. in Denver.

Perian faces between five and 20 years in federal prison, as well as an up to $250,000 fine and possible restitution and forfeiture.
