KUSA - The 9NEWS #9Jobs Chat has been created to connect employers with job seekers. The two-part chat is for business owners to promote their open positions and for people looking for jobs to share their resumes.

The #9Jobs Chat is hosted on Twitter, Facebook and Google+ on Tuesday's from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. MDT.

From 6 a.m. to noon, the chat will focus on open jobs. From noon to 4 p.m., the chat will be for people who are looking for jobs.

To join the chat, follow the hashtag #9Jobs on Twitter and follow the 9NEWS Twitter accounts @9NEWS and @LocalMarket9. Tweets using the #9Jobs hashtag may be ReTweeted by the 9NEWS Twitter accounts. Tweets with links to information on jobs and how to apply, and Tweets with links to online profiles or resumes of those searching for jobs, will be considered first for the ReTweet.

The chat will also be hosted on the 9NEWS Facebook and Google+ pages with two posts also using the hashtag #9Jobs. The first post at will be at 6 a.m. for business owners to post job notices in the comments or on the 9NEWS wall. The second post will be at noon for job seekers to leave comments about their skills and links to their resumes.

Businesses or organizations that participate in the #9Jobs Chat may also be featured in business segments during 9NEWS Mornings with 9NEWS Business Anchor Gregg Moss.

Employers and job seekers are encouraged to check the comments and Tweets that are a part of our #9Jobs chat. Our hope is that you will find a perfect fit for the job or for yourself.
