Westminster hit-and-run puts bicyclist in critical condition, police still looking for driver

WESTMINSTER - Police are looking for a motorist who they say hit a bicyclist, leaving him in critical condition, before driving away.

It happened near the 9900 block of Westminster Boulevard at 11 p.m. on Saturday. The bicyclist was hit by a vehicle, and was seen by a passing motorist. His bike was found 1,000 feet away from him.

 The driver of the vehicle that hit him did not stop or notify police.

The vehicle may have hood damage or right/passenger side headlight damage. There may also be damage to the windshield wipers. Police say they do not know the exact model of the vehicle.
