DOUGLAS COUNTY - Police are trying to identify who was responsible for throwing rocks at more than 20 house and car windows Friday in an area spanning 20 different blocks.

Neighbors were awakened at midnight Friday by the sound of shattering glass and immediately called the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies arrived in the area to find over 20 car and house windows had been broken with rocks in an area spanning 20 different blocks between Broadway and University Boulevard in the area south of C-470. The call came in the area of Redhaven Way in Highlands Ranch.
