DENVER - Recently recalled frozen berries may have been sold to restaurants and businesses that make smoothies. The berries may contain hepatitis A.
The Colorado Department of Health says that drinks made at Groovy Greens smoothie delivery service in Boulder and at the Sweet Pea Restaurant in Steamboat Springs may have contained the Organic Antioxidant Blend frozen berries.
Although no hepatitis cases have been tied to the restaurants, 22 cases have been reported in Colorado.
