Summit County- They will spend three days riding through some of the most beautiful spots in Summit County to help the Children's Hospital in Denver.

This weekend 2,000 cyclists will hit the roads around Silverthorne, Dillon, Frisco and Breckenridge. They're taking part in the 155 mile long Courage Classic Route.

The ride is in its 24th year and each year Wendy Markley has been right there along the highway cheering for her husband. He's been riding the Courage Classic for more than two decades.

"Waiting for my husband and daughter, my husband has rode all of them but two years cause we had our son's wedding and another event," said Barkley.

The Courage Classic runs until Monday. Last year the ride rolled in $2 million for the Children's Hospital, in its 24 years it's raised around $28 million.
