KUSA - Peyton and Eli Manning's memorable music video commercial is great because you can't get it out of your head. But then again it's also terrible. It tortures you because, well, you just cannot get it out of your head and I cannot get it out of mine.
It's quite simply brilliant.
"I think it makes a lot of sense. Everybody love to watch football, and now you can watch it on your phone," the Broncos quarterback asserted. "It's pretty catchy."
Teammates of both of the Manning's were quickly enamored by the video, taking over the locker rooms in Denver and New York. And while the two quarterbacks won't be ridiculed, they certainly could be, because their commitment to the vision of the project is outstanding. They certainly looked, Peyton calling his appearance a mix between the lead singer of the Cars, Ric Ocasek, and Tom Cruise's character from Rock of Ages, Stacee Jaxx, and acted the part of rock stars.
"Once you get into it you're either all in or you're all out," Peyton said. "So we just decided to go for it."
Unfortunately, this is as far as their rapping careers will take the Manning brothers, each announcing their retirement. They'll now focus on football, not on their phones for now but on the field.
