Brothers sought in string of bank robberies

DENVER - The FBI is looking for two brothers in a bank robbery spree in the Denver metro area.

Nicknamed the "The Brothers Bandit," the two men, identified as Vyacheslav Volkov, 31, and Denis Volkov, 19, have robbed four banks in the last two weeks.

The brothers are believed to be responsible for the following bank robberies:

U.S. Bank on Saturday, August 3. The bank is located on North Quebec Street in Denver.

U.S Bank on Monday, August 5. The bank is located on West 88th Avenue in Westminster.

U.S Bank on Monday August 12. The bank is located on East 120th Avenue in Thornton.

TCF Bank on Tuesday August 13. The bank is located on South Broadway in Denver.

A reward of up to $12,000 is being offered for information on the two brothers.

Vyacheslav goes by Slavic. He is a white male who stands about 6-feet-1 and weighs 200 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Slavic speaks with a heavy accent.

His brother, Denis, is also a white male who stands about 5-feet-8 and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Denis has no noticeable accent.

Both these men are considered armed and dangerous. If you see them law enforcement asks that you do not approach them, but to call police immediately.
