DENVER- Fall is Colorado's most colorful season and its finally here! This time of year is also one the best times to get some amazing photos from all over our state.
For some advice on the best places you should go to see fall color, we consulted photographer John Fielder.
In northern Colorado, he suggests checking out Steamboat Springs.
"The Elk River road to Steamboat Lake State Park and north to Little Snake River is gorgeous," Fielder said.

If you're headed to central Colorado, he says Aspen, Maroon Creek, Castle Creek and Snowmass Creek roads are best.
Consider Ouray and Telluride, if you're headed to the Southwest San Juan Mountains.
For people looking for a quick day trip near Denver, Fielder recommends taking the Peak to Peak Highway north from Nederland and Highway 7 from Lyons to Estes Park.
Some of John Fielder's best fall photos will be featured at "John Denver: The Tribute," which is coming up on October 18. For more information: http://www.johnfielder.com/concert-2013.php
