DENVER - Police are looking for two people and a damaged SUV in connection to an attempted abduction.

A woman walking on East 7th Avenue near Gilpin Street in Denver
the evening of Oct. 1 was grabbed by two masked assailants, according to a Crime Stoppers report released Tuesday.

The two attackers pulled the victim into an alley, but the woman was able to fight back and escape. The two assailants took off in an SUV, hitting a Dumpster as they fled.

The vehicle lost the driver side mirror and parts of the tail light and a reflector. The parts were collected and in checking with an auto dealer it appears the vehicle is likely a late 1990s gold colored Nissan Pathfinder.

Anyone having information on a vehicle fitting this description that has new damage to the left side and the driver mirror missing is asked to forward the information to Crime Stoppers 720-913-7867
