LARIMER COUNTY - Free tetanus shots are available for those involved in flood cleanup efforts.

RECENT COLORADO FLOODING STORIES

The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment is offering the shots regardless of insurance status.

Those who haven't had a tetanus shot (TDAP) in 10 or more years are urged to get a booster at the Health Department during walk-in clinic hours. If you get cut or hurt during the cleanup, you will need to seek medical care from your doctor or urgent care clinic. The department of health says certain wounds may require an additional tetanus booster if it has been more than five years since your last shot.
