A Denver judge is calling an emergency hearing on Tuesday after we exposed serious concerns about the safety of two Colorado boys living in Mexico.
Their mother turned up dead just two days after making a phone call expressing concern about her children and her own life.
Mexican police ruled Domonique Borrego's death a suicide, but U.S. law enforcement experts say crime scene pictures make it look like the the suicide may have been staged.
Borrego was in Mexico, trying to make arrangements to get her sons Pedro and Joey safely back to the Colorado.
Denver case workers took the boys out of foster care. They sent them to live with their father, even though court testimony accused him of physical abuse.
