DENVER - Denver has one less motel and police say that's a good thing.
Denver police shut down the Days Inn near 6th Avenue and Federal Boulevard because of prostitution, drugs and gang issues, along with health and safety violations.
Police say the motel's management was given several chances to turn things around.
Twelve people staying there were arrested on open warrants. Everyone else was moved to nearby motels.
