FORT COLLINS - High winds are causing hazardous driving on Interstate-25 north of Fort Collins.
At least one semitrailer has blown over near the Colorado-Wyoming border, and dozens more have pulled off the side of the road to avoid a similar fate.
Colorado State Patrol is out with a very large dump truck bed that is blocking access to the northbound ramp at the Buckeye exit, near the 290 mile marker, about a mile and half from the border.
The winds, which are gusting above 50 mph, are forcing drivers to keep both hands on the wheel. Many trucks that are driving north are struggling to stay in their lanes as high winds blow them sideways.
