DURANGO, Colo. (AP) - A man suspected of leaking mercury at six public places in the Durango area has been released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond.

The Durango Herald reports that 46-year-old Daniel Lee Plummer faces charges of felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor reckless public endangerment.

Several Durango buildings were contaminated last week by mercury spilled from a jar Plummer carried.
