KUSA - Now that it looks like a winter wonderland outside, its time to bundle up!
In a new online series, 9NEWS is looking at ways you can stay warm and save some money with Pinterest.
First up to the test, boot socks.
If you have some old sweaters or take a trip to the thrift shop for some, this one is quick and easy to make. Take an old sweater and cut it at the armpit. After cutting it, measure it on you leg. Once you find the desired length, cut the end closer to the armpit to size. To prevent snagging, hem the cut side. For those less savvy with a need and thread, iron-on hem tape is available at most craft and grocery stores.
But not all shoe ideas on Pinterest are actually worth the trouble. Watch the video above to see which ones work and which one will end up getting messy.
