MEAD- The Weld County Sheriff's is looking for the man who entered a home while the owners were inside.

Just before 11 p.m. Wednesday night, a man entered a home near County Road 7 and Country Road 32 through a sliding glass door in the rear of the house.

The door led to a bedroom where the resident's infant child was sleeping. When the owner confronted the suspect, he ran from the house.

He drove away in a green, or dark colored, Honda Civic with tinted windows and a dent in the passenger door. The residents of the home thought they saw a white male in the passenger seat of the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a male with a stocky build, unknown race at this time. He is estimated to be about 5'9" and 180 pounds. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt, a dark beanie, and jeans.

Anyone with information about that incident should contact the Weld County Sheriff's Office at 970-356-4015.
