GOLDEN- Some residents living in Golden are on alert because of water overflowing the banks of the frozen Clear Creek.
Residents of the Clear Creek RV Park should be ready to evacuate if necessary.
The Golden Fire Department says no evacuations are needed right now, however plans are being put into place in case water levels get worse.
Golden Police, Fire and city crews are monitoring the situation.
Several trails in Golden are closed due to high levels of frozen water, and several parking lots along the creek are also closed.
10th Street at Cheyenne is open to local traffic, which includes several city buildings, the Golden Community Center and the Clear Creek RV Park.
