KUSA - Colorado's Department of Labor and Employment has received a $4.6 million dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to launch a Flood Recovery Jobs program.
About 230 temporary workers will be hired to work on cleanup in Boulder, Clear Creek, El Paso, Jefferson, Larimer, Logan, Morgan, Washington and Weld counties.
They need people who can operate equipment, repair culverts, roads and levees as well as people who can supervise crews.
There will be some administrative jobs to fill as well.
Wages of up to $12,000 per person for six months of work will be made available.
