ADAMS COUNTY - It has its own Facebook page and its own email address, but its claim to fame is tarnished.
It is a blue couch: A piece of unwanted furniture left by the side of the road near East 128th Avenue and Quebec Street.
Roger Fink drives by the couch all the time. He's annoyed someone would just dump the now-snow-covered furniture. It obviously belonged to someone at sometime, so that someone knows who dumped it.
Fink just wants the "Big Blue Couch" returned to its owner, ridding the area of the cushion-less seat.
"It's a very small amount of people out there that feel they are entitled to drop their trash on the side of the road and for others to take care of it," Fink said.
Wednesday morning, the Big Blue Couch Facebook page posted a picture of the couch being taken away by a City of Thornton truck. Its fate for now is unknown but it's safe to say it's not going back to whoever dumped it by the side of the road.
