Authorities look for driver who hit deputy

DOUGLAS COUNTY - Douglas County authorities are looking for the driver of a car who struck a deputy during an underage party investigation last month. The deputy suffered minor injuries.

It happened Nov. 24 around midnight in the area of Pendleton Drive in Highlands Ranch.

The deputy was investigating an underage alcohol party when he was struck by unknown vehicle with its headlights off.

The vehicle is described as a sliver 4-door sedan, possibly a Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix.
