DENVER - Kit Karbler, owner of Blake Street Glass in the RINO Arts District, is continuing an 18 year holiday event.

The glass artist opens his doors and shows the world the centuries-old craft of hand-blown glass ornaments.

Ten percent of proceeds of Ornaments sold during the promotion period goes to Children's Hospital Colorado.

"It's kids and Christmas; it's a no brainer" Karbler said.

This year, he has two young protégées: Sean Cleland and Liam Goering. They are both in their teens and learning from Karbler how to keep the tradition going.

The results are one-of-a-kind handmade ornaments that help a great cause.
