LORAIN CO, Ohio - A Facebook page that shaming unsuspecting teens who share pictures of themselves is now back up and running. And parents in Lorain County are hoping it is taken down soon. The site adds nasty comments to selfie photos and reposts them.

Tina Miller says her high school age daughter was shocked and humiliated to see her photo here. Other victims are called out by name, all with sexual and racial comments attached.

"So many people just want to hurt people," said Miller. "It's definitely somebody who knows her. Definitely. Because all these kids go to the same school."

Miller says this same page was posted once before, but shut down by the social media site because it was inappropriate. It had already sparked fights and outrage in the community.

Miller says now in less than two weeks, it's again become a powerful evil. And she wants it gone.

"There's no way to sugarcoat it. It is bullying. So I thought that they would step up and do the moral thing. Close it down," she said. "Just make them shut it down. They refuse to do that."

A response from Facebook after Miller reported the page as harassment reads as follows: "We reviewed the page you reported for harassment and found that it doesn't violate our community standards."

"That I question. What does?" said Miller.

In its online Community Standards, Facebook claims "to take action on all reports of abusive behavior directed at private individuals."

Channel 3 News contacted them directly with information about the site. A spokesperson says it's under review again.

Miller says she's seen just how dangerous bullying can be. "I want this taken down because it is against all these kids, not just my daughter...as creator of a page that exposes people, you should face the consequences."

Miller says she won't punish her daughter further by closing her Facebook account, but it's a heavy reminder of how public those photos can become.
