KUSA - Before transitioning to an extended period of mild weather a cool shot of air moves over the Front Range.
A weak cold front out of Wyoming moving over Colorado Friday will bring thicker cloud cover but just a few areas of very light snow.
Light snow Friday night and early Saturday is forecast to be less than one inch in the mountains along and west of the Continental Divide.
A few light snow flurries with minimal accumulation are also expected Friday night over extreme northeastern Colorado.
Denver and surrounding communities will have a chillier afternoon Friday, with clouds and a cool northerly wind. The cooler air sticks around for a hazy Saturday.
Sunday and well into next week temperatures are forecast to be in the 50s and low 60s.
