DENVER - The Christmas show by Denver's renowned all-brass ensemble, The Denver Brass, will showcase traditional holiday favorites, both secular and sacred.

"Brass of Christmas Past" draws from traditional Christmas tales like A Christmas Carol, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

"The 'Brass of Christmas Past' honors the traditions we hold near to our hearts during this special season," Kathy Brantigan, executive director of The Denver Brass, said. "This year's show will highlight crowd favorites, songs we've all grown up hearing - but they'll be performed in the unexpected and inspiring way that has become a Denver Brass trademark."

The concert will be on Dec. 21 at 7:30 and Dec. 22 at 2:30 p.m. at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts at 2344 E. Iliff Ave. Tickets cost $22 to $44. Call 303-832-4676 for more information.
