NBC-  Some of santa's helpers took an early Christmas gift to a military family in Colorado.

Five-year-old Nate Anderson of Aurora was diagnosed with Leukemia six months ago.

His dad, Major Matt Anderson is an airman at Buckley Air Force Base.

Since Nate's diagnosis, the Anderson family has been in and out of the hospital for Nate's chemotherapy.

Earlier this month, the organization called Christmas Decor showed up at the Anderson's home - with loads of decorations to make the family's Christmas a little brighter.

Christmas Decor started decorating soldiers' homes a few years ago, for free, taking nominations from the public.

The Anderson's home is among more than 100 receiving decorations this season from the organization.
