DENVER - Two people are in custody after a standoff situation in a west Denver house Monday morning.
The house is at the intersection of South Quitman Street and West Dakota Avenue.
Authorities say the man and woman who were taken into custody were possibly armed, so SWAT had to be requested.
It is unknown at this time why the people were barricaded in the home.
The scene was determined to be "all clear" around 8:30 a.m.
Police told 9NEWS this situation originally came in as a weapons call, but ended up being a sexual assault investigation.
