WHEAT RIDGE - Colorado's drunkest curve has struck again.
Wheat Ridge police say yet another truck hauling beer overturned on the ramp from eastbound Highway 58 to eastbound Interstate 70 Wednesday afternoon.
The truck rolled over while carrying about 44,000 pounds of Miller Lite and Keystone Light on eastbound Highway 58.
Wheat Ridge police say the driver and his passenger were not injured. However, the driver will be cited with careless driving.
Authorities said no beer poured out on to the road. The beer was unloaded by hand before the semi was turned upright.
Eastbound I-70 was extremely backed up for several hours.
Several beer trucks have overturned in the same area. Wheat Ridge police have responded to eight crashes , one fatal, on the same ramp so far this year.
Wheat Ridge police are working with the Colorado Department of Transportation to see if the speed limit for that on ramp can be reduced.
