KUSA - Denver forward Jordan Hamilton was suspended for one game for "throwing a punch at and making contact with the shoulder" of Oklahoma City's Steven Adams, the NBA announced Wednesday.
Hamilton was given a flagrant foul-2 and ejected early in the fourth quarter of Tuesday night's game at the Pepsi Center. Lamb and Hamilton bumped each other after a rebound, and as they were running upcourt Hamilton swung his right arm and hand at Lamb.
Hamilton was called for a flagrant foul-1, but after video review he was called for the flagrant-2 for "unnecessary and excessive" contact. Hamilton also faces a fine.
He will sit out Friday's home game against Phoenix.
