USA TODAY - What excellent news.

Adele, who has spent most of 2013 focusing on her baby boy, Angelo, stepped back into the spotlight long enough to receive the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) medal. Prince Charles did the honors at Thursday's ceremony, lauding her "services to music."

The 25-year-old who first launched to fame with her 2008 debut album, 19, won six Grammy awards last year for her follow-up, 21.
