1 wounded in Denver shooting

DENVER - Denver police tweeted Friday night that one person was transported to the hospital during a shooting that started out as a possible robbery.

It happened around 9 p.m. near the Bear Valley Shopping Center on South Sheridan Boulevard and West Dartmouth Avenue.

Several Denver police vehicles were in front of a King Soopers located in the shopping center.

Police are looking for a dark colored Volkswagen Jetta that may have been involved.

Police tweeted the victim was in serious but stable condition.
