KUSA - Claire Davis, 17, was remembered by dozens of people Saturday night at the memorial set up on the sidewalk near Arapahoe High School.
The street glowed with candlelight as Claire's friends, classmates and even strangers came to say goodbye. The memorial site grew as people left behind flowers, stuffed animals and other mementos.
"I feel like I really needed to be here," Arapahoe student Karyn Heissenbuttel said.
Student Allison Bruhn said she had come to the memorial to pray for Claire every night since the shooting.
"I'm still going to pray for her family and make sure she's OK in heaven," Bruhn said.
Students huddled together as snow fell, quietly saying goodbye.
"Claire will never be forgotten," student Kevin Burke said. "She'll always be a Warrior."
