Pet food drive helps animals in need

KUSA - People aren't the only ones in need of help during the holidays. There are shortages of food for their pets too.

Animal Haus of Denver is trying to fill their pantry and Cunningham Fire Protection District is helping them out by holding a drive at several locations.

They're accepting unopened bags, boxes and cans of pet food through New Year's Day at the following locations:

Fire Station 61 bin: 2250 S. Emporia Street Denver, CO 80231
Fire Station 62 bin: 16758 E. Smoky Hill Road Centennial, CO 80015
Fire Station 63 bin: 5405 S. Riviera Way Centennial, CO 80015
Administration Building bin: 2015 S. Dayton St. Denver, CO 80247

Drop off donations also can be made at the porches of the following homes:

- Nancy Cronk at 5846 S. Ensenada St. Centennial, CO 80015
- Diane Lewis at 5141 S. Richfield St. Centennial, CO 80015
