Hit-and-run driver leaves victim with broken leg in Boulder

BOULDER - Boulder Police are looking for a driver who hit a pedestrian early Dec. 19 at the intersection of Baseline Street and Broadway Road and left the victim with a broken leg.

Police say the 23-year-old man was crossing eastbound in the south crosswalk of Baseline at Broadway when he was hit by a car. The driver did not stop to help the victim up. The man then crawled out of the street and to the sidewalk.

Two people saw the man on the sidewalk and stopped to help him. They called the police, although they did not see the accident happen.

Boulder Fire Rescue Crews treated the victim at the scene and then took him to the hospital for more treatment.

Police are trying to identify the driver and vehicle and would like your help if you have any information.
