Man wearing construction hat and clothes robs 2 Denver banks

DENVER - Denver Police are looking for a bank robber who hit two banks this year, the most recent one happening Monday.

In the first robbery, the man was wearing a yellow construction hat and clothing. In both incidents, police say the man told tellers he had a bomb and then fled with the money.

The first robbery occurred May 31 at the First Bank located at 4700 West 38th Avenue in Denver.

The second robbery was at the U.S. Bank at 3400 West 38th Avenue in Denver on Dec. 23.

Police say the man is between the age of 50 and 60, 6-feet tall and weighs around 200 pounds.
