KUSA - Grammy winning musician Jim Brickman is in Denver this weekend as part of his "The Magic Of Christmas" tour.

Brickman has hit the road at Christmas-time for 17 years now. As he has in past performances, he's put together a blend of music and humor for a celebration of all things holiday and winter.

Brickman will be playing holiday favorites along with songs from his latest CD, "The Magic of Christmas." He'll also play hits that made Brickman the country's best-selling pianist in recent history. Joining the holiday celebration is Denver's First Lady, Mary Louise Lee as she lends her vocals with a special performance of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."

Brickmann will be at the Paramount Theatre on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available by calling 866-461-6556, or online at www.tickethorse.com. You can also visit www.paramountdenver.com.

Brickman will also hold a free Piano Master Class on Saturday, December 28, beginning at 2:00 pm MST at Onofrio Piano, 1332 West Broadway, Suite 200 in Denver. The free workshop session will highlight the creative process behind his platinum-selling albums, various aspects of Brickman's piano technique, pop chord and theory foundation, recital and competition preparation.

Guests of the workshop session will hear his journey to becoming "America's Piano Sensation" and are encouraged to participate by providing questions and requests for the artist.

Brickman's Master Class will give piano players and students rare insight into the technique and mind-set of a world-renowned songwriter, helping them to improve and excel at their art. The event is free, but space is limited. Contact Onofrio Piano at (303) 777-2636.
