KUSA - Two men who robbed a Jefferson County cell phone store pepper sprayed multiple occupants inside before fleeing. At least 21 people were affected by the spray.
It happened around 5 p.m. Sunday at a Verizon store in front of Southwest Plaza. The two men made off with several iPhones, the Jeffco Sheriff tweeted.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the victims were treated at the scene. The store had both doors wide open as they tried to vent the fumes from the building.
The suspects are described as Hispanic males in their 20s. They both were short in stature and wore dark clothing.
