LAS VEGAS - The world's largest consumer electronics show kicks off in Las Vegas on Tuesday. Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to attend. Among the neat items being showcased this year: a 3D Television set without 3D TV goggles.

The TV set is being produced by Vizio. While it's still in the works, Vizio says you won't need to wear 3D glasses in order to see the 3D elements. The visuals are done with multiple television frames and other technological advances.

The TV isn't ready to be sold to the public just yet, but Vizio says it's getting closer to perfecting it.

Vizio says in order to be successful in the 3D TV realm, companies are going to have to start creating the television sets without 3D glasses, because consumers don't tend to like wearing 3D glasses while watching TV.
