Police investigate infant death at Denver shelter

DENVER - Denver police are investigating the death of a 4-month-old boy at a Denver homeless shelter Monday night.

Police were called to the Salvation Army Lambuth Family Shelter in 2700 block of Federal Boulevard around 9:30 p.m.

A Salvation Army press release said the infant's family was staying at the shelter at the time of the death.

Police said there were no obvious signs of how the boy died. The coroner's report will have more details.
