KUSA - More snow forecast for the mountains as a series of rather weak weather systems track across the state from the northwest.
Denver looks dry with a mix of clouds and sunshine and slow warming trend heading into the weekend.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for the Park and Elkhead Mountains and the Flattops until 6 a.m. Thursday. Locations near Columbine, Buford and Trappers Lake will see another 4 to 8 inches of snowfall by Thursday morning.
A WINTER STORM WATCH will go out after the WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY expires tomorrow and will continue through early Saturday for another 4-8" of mountain snow.
Look for partly to mostly sunny skies in Denver and along the front range with gusty winds along the foothills from time to time. Temperatures will be seasonal with highs in the 40s through Friday.
The weekend will be warmer with highs in the lower 50s both Saturday and Sunday. This warming trend should continue through early next week.
Conditions for the Broncos game look mostly dry with temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s at kickoff.
