VANCOUVER - A Vancouver-based media and communications specialist named Steve Venegas has started a trend that has everyone in stitches.
For the past four years, Venegas has gone to The Gap, dressed up like the mannequins and then posed for pictures with them.
He calls it The Gap Mannequin Project. Venegas describes the project as "I try on clothes and have my photo taken because it's funny to dress like a dummy."
His Tumblr account has exploded in the past few days after Buzzfeed featured it: http://bit.ly/1lucw5s.
Venegas said he wasn't targeting The Gap specifically, it just happened after he noticed the mannequin was his size.
